This study will therefore endeavor to determine the factors hindering financial borrowing patterns in commercial banks. The specific objectives identified the conditions imposed by commercial banks for credit qualifications for business women to assess impact of borrowing on the future of the commercial banks, attractive features offered by the banks and to suggest policy matters to make it easier to access the banking products apart from loans.  The purpose of this review is to investigate the extent to which perceived difficulties concerning access to finance discourage potential and existing entrepreneurs from financial borrowing from commercial banks. It focuses on evidence relating to the barriers to accessing finance that can arise because of the perception that entrepreneurs have regarding their chances of success in applying for finance, the process involved in obtaining it and the various costs to them and their business of being successful. The research design used was a case study and the population of the study was 120 members of women business community in Thika constituency. A sample of 57 business women was used in collecting primary data. The data collected will be analyzed by way of tabulation, frequency tables, percentages, graphs and pie charts.
